One student held the camera and the other moved the object in small increments to create movement when turned into a video. Then the students use Windows Movie Maker to create their animations. The results were moving!

Egg-citing Predictions
First graders in Mrs. Riggin's class are making predictions, taking surveys and creating graphs with their findings. Each student created three questions and surveyed others. With the results, they used a template created in Excel to create a simple bar graph. A lot of learning is predicted for these first graders!

Pebble Go
First Graders in Mrs. Flott's class learn how to use Pebble Go for their research projects. Pebble Go is a database provided by the Canyon Creek Library that is specifically designed for your beginning researchers.

Cultural Clouds
Chao! Tagxedo is a program used to create word clouds. Students in third grade used Tagxedo to create word clouds of common words in the language of the culture they studied for their project. Adios!

Traditional Literature Adaptations
Fourth graders have been busy learning about various traditional literature stories. After studying several different forms: fables, myths, legends, and fairy tales, the students selected a story to adapt into a drama. While working in groups, students retold, directed, and crafted all the stories. Then each group used the document camera to record and share their adaptions of the literature.
