Stop Motion Fun


Fourth grade used stop-motion animation to create short videos.  The students collaborated with partners to create their videos.  One student held the camera and the other moved the object in small increments to create movement when turned into a video.  Then the students use Windows Movie Maker to create their animations. The results were moving!

Egg-citing Predictions

First graders in Mrs. Riggin's class are making predictions, taking surveys and creating graphs with their findings.  Each student created three questions and surveyed others.  With the results, they used a template created in Excel to create a simple bar graph. A lot of learning is predicted for these first graders!

Pebble Go

First Graders in Mrs. Flott's class learn how to use Pebble Go for their research projects.  Pebble Go is a database provided by the Canyon Creek Library that is specifically designed for your beginning researchers.
